HI, AND WELCOME TO MY BLOG!

This site is all about CHANGE - Change with a Big 'C'

Change is the underlying theme, changing our way of thinking! For our own benefit!

We have all been 'conditioned' to comply with the requirements of our society's way of doing things.

Can we break out?

If you are ready for a whole new way of looking at the world, its environment, ourselves as human beings and everything we see around us and in our lives then you might be interested to read on! You will read of the conventional viewed from an unconventional perspective.

It is easy to carry on as we are, doing things in the ways passed down to us by our ancestors but to do so would be wasting a wonderful existence for us all in this lifetime.

From my viewpoint, change is required very soon if we are to survive as a collective of beings.

Have you often felt out of place, sort of 'out of time', even with your own family and friends? A feeling that something is 'not quite right', but you could never quite put your finger on what that something is?

Perhaps you are a fellow 'pioneer'. You may have within you a special strength to usher in what is needed, what is new, as a way of thinking.

I look forward to posting here the collective of my lifetime's experiences, personal development issues and inspirational thoughts for your reflection.

I know that, in the process, I will gain significant insights from your interaction and feedback.

THE PERFECT DIET

I have found the perfect healthy diet.

There's a statement for you!!

In fact I ‘discovered’ it nearly thirty years ago when I came across a group of people at the Festival for Mind and Body in London. I read one of their books and was instantly hooked. I knew inside me that this was it, and I have lived it ever since.
When I say ‘diet’ I am not referring to some cock-eyed way of reducing my food intake to try and reduce the size of my body. I have no need of such ways, although the way of eating I have permanently adopted might well help you reach your ‘natural’ weight (which is not necessarily ‘thin’).
By diet, I refer to a way of eating which includes the content of the food that I eat and the ‘how’ of eating and, as a natural spin-off from those factors, I reclaimed and now maintain a healthy body. As proof of this last fact, I can say that I have had absolutely no need to see a doctor for ill health reasons for nearly thirty years. This is ‘proof’ enough for me. Even though I knew at the core of my very being that this was the right way to go from the start, my personal proof is better than any kind of scientific proof that any so-called ‘expert’ could have tried to convince me of.
I have a varied and enjoyable diet which is unsurpassed by anything I have read about pertaining to food-fad ways.

So what does my diet consist of? Well, for a start, my diet does not consist of anything which comes from an air-breathing animal, bird, mammal or insect. Also excluded are eggs, milk, butter, cheese or any ingredients that are ‘animal’ based such as gelatine (from animal tendons and skin) or cochineal (crushed insects). I scrutinise the ingredients lists on pre-manufactured products to ensure I am doing it 100%. This is essential as it only works for you, health-wise, by cutting out ALL animal flesh and products. There are no half measures!

So now, I can hear you asking me - what’s left for you to eat? Masses of things - that’s the answer!
Just think………..you can choose from everything else that is a ‘natural’ food - vegetables, fruit, mushrooms, salads (tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, cress, celery, etc), grains (and grain products like cereals and bread), rice, pasta (dried pasta does not contain egg), pulses (beans, lentils), fish (but not shell-fish as these are mostly capable of living on land or at least out of water which makes their flesh different from true fish), pure vegetable-based oils for cooking and pure vegetable fats. There are non-dairy alternatives to margarine, cheese, milk (soya and grain-based), cream, ice cream, yoghurts, etc. that are widely available and excellent.

If you are used to a diet of mainly the flesh and products of animals and birds then you may say that my list of foods sounds boring. I can assure you that it is not in the least bit boring.
The colour, taste and vibrancy of the food is wonderfully satisfying and delicious and it takes a short time to re-educate our taste-buds and culinary skills to really get into this properly. If you can grow some of your own food organically, or obtain it (i.e. without chemical or artificial fertilizers) then the taste is even more amazing.

The main thing is THE DECISION. If you don’t really see a reason to take this on board for yourself then you will probably find every excuse under the sun to reject it. That is fine - for you. Free choice is for each individual and I would not wish it otherwise. I know that, for me, it was the ‘right’ choice, perfect for me, and now I would never eat in the ‘old’ way ever again. My body is too precious to me to feed it un-natural substances which it cannot handle. I also know that many many thousands of people all over the world similarly benefit from eating this way - and the benefits manifest in obviously healthy lives.

Happy Eating!!
Eric

I would be very interested to hear from any of you who have already taken to this wonderful diet, to hear of your experiences with your change-over; or, if you are thinking of adopting it and want some extra guidance, you are welcome to contact me via email.

If you want to see proof that eating a non-animal diet works, then have a look at www.rawfor30days.com . Raw food might be a bit extreme for a lot of people to follow for any length of time but it proves a point. So you can always eat the non-animal way by cooking like you are used to, but with the 'natural' ingredients. This works for any disease, even though the time needed to clear your system of the animal organisms will vary. Try it. Gain your own proof. It's all you require!
