FOOD FOR THOUGHT
The “experts’ ” advice about the food that we eat, to try to keep us in the best of health, has been an important aspect of dietary advice for decades, yet the incidence of serious illness has multiplied at an alarming rate. Clearly existing mainstream strategies are not working. If they were, people who followed such regimes would be living with perfect health until they reached the ends of their lives.
Whatever method we adopt, the only true proof needed is that it works. Either it does, or it doesn’t. We are interested only in what works. It is also obvious, when you really look at what is happening in the world, that so many other aspects of life are just not working either. What with pollution and devastation of the Earth, poverty and disease, warring nations and violence on our streets, it is clear that a high degree of uncaring thought is put into action by people the world over. Individually, some might say “I’m okay” but the imbalance the world over could be described as grotesque.
I pose this question - Is it time for a radical re-think about how we are interacting with every aspect of life on this earth? Including each other?
If you believe that we, as beings, are linked to each other, all parts of the same vast Intelligence, then it is only intelligent that we must consider every other person on this planet as a part of ourselves, and act accordingly.
Food for thought - and a healthy planet.
